Business VoIP price per seat

Entry-tier published list rates per user per month (annual billing) for the platforms we review, observed 2026-09. Two caveats before the table: contracted pricing is quote-based — it moves with volume, term and competition — and every number links to a full review with the tier structure explained.

The headline numbers from this table — seat costs, discounts, renewal inflation — are also published as numbered, citable statistics with methodology and pre-approved expert quotes.

How to use these numbers

Frequently asked questions

Is the cheapest per-seat rate the best deal?
Rarely on its own. Entry tiers exclude features most 25+ seat businesses need (recording, integrations, hot-desking), and per-seat rate differences shrink against implementation fees and surcharges. Compare three-year total cost, not entry sticker.
Why do some platforms have no published price?
Enterprise platforms (NICE, Genesys at upper tiers, UJET) price by quote — configuration, volume and terms move the number too much for list rates to mean much. Those show as custom and are excluded from the per-seat table.
How often is this updated?
Quarterly, with dated corrections whenever a vendor publishes a change. Changes also land in the renewal inflation tracker with their observation date.
What do businesses actually pay versus list?
Contracted pricing is quote-based — it moves with seat count, term and competition. Advisor-brokered deals exist to put that competition on your side of the table; going direct anchors you to list.
